Job Purpose

As the Innovation Associate Brand Manager, you will play a vital role in bringing big ideas to life. Focused on the U.S. market, you’ll partner across functions to help define and deliver innovations that address unmet consumer needs, channel-specific opportunities, and emerging white spaces.

What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be

  • Champion Innovation: Drive end-to-end innovation projects tailored to U.S. market needs—bringing concepts to life across product, pack, positioning, and mix.
  • Shape Strategy: Support the development of long-term innovation roadmaps and identify white space opportunities that align with Degree’s U.S. brand vision.
  • Collaborate & Influence: Work cross-functionally with R&D, Consumer Market Insights, Customer Development, Performance Marketing, and Design to develop and deploy innovation that delivers impact.
  • Elevate Sustainability: Bring a sustainability lens to innovation, ensuring new products reflect our commitment to people and the planet.
  • Lead with Insight: Leverage consumer, cultural, and social insights to ensure our innovation is grounded in real human needs.
  • Execute with Excellence: Manage projects with agility, accountability, and attention to detail—from ideation through launch

Experiences & Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 3+ years of experience in brand marketing, innovation, or related roles (personal care experience a plus)
  • Strong project leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to think both creatively and analytically—balancing insight with execution
  • A strategic mindset with a passion for consumer behavior and emerging trends
  • Collaborative spirit with a bias for action and a drive to make things happen
  • Appreciation for aesthetics, design, and attention to detail
  • Courage to challenge norms and pursue bold ideas

Pay: The pay range for this position is $86,080 to $129,120. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.

Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
