Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Remote Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial transactions and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is highly organized, experienced with accounting software, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
  

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
  

• Process invoices, payments, and payroll (if applicable)
  

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  

• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  

• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and financial regulations
  

• Communicate with clients, vendors, and team members regarding financial matters
  

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role
  

• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and financial regulations
  

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks)
  

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks remotely
  

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
