Salary: $100,000 - 140,000 per year Requirements: ~ We are looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications: ~ A bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of additional cyber experience in lieu of a degree ~7+ years of cyber experience ~ Experience with technologies involved in large-scale enterprise deployments/data centers ~ Experience with deploying and/or supporting enterprise security software products such as firewalls, IPS, Anti-Virus solutions, application firewalls, high availability solutions, and network management systems ~ Knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, general operating system security practices, TCP/IP networking, 802.1x, and network security concepts ~ IAT Level II (GSEC, Security+, SSCP, or CCNA-Security) certification or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire Responsibilities: As a Principal Cyber Security Engineer, you will: Engineer, design, implement, integrate, and sustain Comply-to-Connect (C2C) deployment support to migrate, deploy, improve, and maintain C2C services. This includes managing and maintaining the appliances, applications, servers, and supporting infrastructure in both unclassified and classified environments. Coordinate with the network service provider to develop and maintain network architecture diagrams. Evaluate and recommend changes and/or technology upgrades to address performance, standardization, and best practices in the industry. Monitor and investigate C2C performance and faults, providing recommendations for improvements. Interact with team members and customers at multiple levels to gather, supply, or coordinate information. Support Assessment and Authorization activities related to cybersecurity technologies when applicable. Technologies: Cisco Support Linux Network Perl Security TCP/IP Windows XML More: Preferred qualifications include: - Experience implementing and using complex software products that involve multiple components - Familiarity with vendor-agnostic C2C capabilities and services, open-source components, trends, DoD integration and networks, as well as DoD engineering and sustainment procedures and processes to deliver real-time enterprise-level expertise to our customers - Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) - Knowledge of Shell, Perl, and XML scripting - Experience with tools such as Nmap, Nessus, and tcpdump Clearance Requirements: Candidates must have a current/active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. Physical Requirements: The person in this position must be able to remain stationary for 50% of the time, occasionally moving around the office to access file cabinets and office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, and virtual communication, which may include delivering presentations. last updated 42 week of 2025
