We pride ourselves on a collaborative work environment, a team dedicated to innovation and safety, and our strong connection to the Appalachian Basin, the region we proudly call home and operate within.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory Coordinator with strong initiative to play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory adherence across our Ohio and Pennsylvania operations. This dynamic position offers a blend of office and field work, allowing you to be directly involved in our commitment to compliance and environmental best practices. This role will be based out of our Morgantown, WV office location, with up to 30% travel to field locations throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania.

What You Will Be Doing
As a Regulatory Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our operations meet all environmental standards. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Acting as an environmental liaison with federal, state (like Ohio EPA and PA DEP), and local agencies. You’ll ensure all reports, renewals, and compliance requests are handled on time.
  • Conducting site inspections and compliance audits at well pads and pipeline facilities to enforce environmental, air, water, and waste regulations.
  • Coordinating compliance reporting, including NPDES, spills, hazardous waste, and other permit conditions, diligently tracking deadlines.
  • Monitoring and interpreting regulatory changes, then recommending operational or reporting adjustments as needed.
  • Assisting with all aspects of the well readiness process, assessing statuses, and proactively addressing gaps to keep projects moving forward.
  • Liaising with internal operations teams to integrate environmental requirements into project planning and field work, reviewing items like SPCC/PPC plans and erosion/sediment controls.
  • Supporting incident investigation and remediation coordination and collaborating on corrective action plans for any non-compliance or violations.
  • Developing and delivering training and communication materials to field staff on environmental best practices and regulatory compliance.
  • Maintaining rigorous compliance documentation, including logs, inspection reports, and all internal and external correspondence.
Your Background:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in oil and gas environmental compliance or regulatory roles. Experience with natural gas pipeline regulation and coordination is highly preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local oil and gas environmental regulations and permitting processes.
  • Proven ability to conduct site inspections, environmental monitoring, and compliance audits, and to develop corrective action plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with agencies, internal staff, and contractors.
  • Comfort with field travel and outdoor conditions, along with a valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to see, hear, talk and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
  • Able to operate standard office/computer equipment.
  • Must be able to perform physical work – exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
